best: Sussex has such a lovely campus and is in a great location being in between Brighton and Lewes! Worst: It is a very expensive city to live in.

I really like my course, it has helped me with the change in learning style from A-Level to University level. Contact hours: 2-3 hours per module each week (4 modules per semester) split into lectures and seminars or workshops. Lecturers and tutors are easy to contact for help. The benefit of foundation years is that there is additional academic help available (academic support advisors, etc). Worst aspects: There are a few group work assignments in the first semester which is difficult when you're still getting to know people on the course and/or some students simply don't show up or contribute to group projects.

This accommodation is the nicest available at Sussex but far far too expensive. The rooms are nice if a little small with small double beds which is nice! The circuit laundry is often very busy, with many machines not working and very expensive pricing but this is expected and common at other unis. My building is in a very good location but some of the others are quite out of the way.
