Very enjoyable, generally friendly atmosphere around campus, engaging courses, some relatively inspiring tutors, excellent facilities. I would recommend that any fresher should get involved in a sports society or a general society as soon as possible as the benefits are huge!

I've really enjoyed it, and it's determined my career plan. It's completely changed everything I want to do, and made me feel fulfilled and confident in my knowledge.

Theoretically very good, but quite cold and uncaring at times. I've known several people forced to withdraw because the university will not support them.

I hate drinking, but other activity organised by the SU are never well attended. Societies are really good, but not funded well enough to optimise what they can do.

Very homely. Not great if you love drinking, but I love the area and it feels more like home than home.

They're all academics of international significance, and are always open to new ideas. They make students feel like equals, and often show genuine excitement a the research work we do.

Cosy, quite spacious and really cheap by national standards. Close to the town centre, and with good transport links. Quite cold though.
