Studying in CardiffMet University is an awesome experience. Its been just two months since i’ve joined but in these two months i’ve learnt a lot and the teachers and teaching methods are exceptional in everyway possible. Teachers are very approachable and help us in every way to make us understand the subject with various real life examples and helpful articles. University’s infrastructure is very good and is equipped with good equipment which makes studying more fun and more engaging. Food here in college canteen is very good and Halal food is available for muslims so that no student goes hungry for any reason. Library is another place which almost has every book that is required for any student of any course helping the students to gain more knowledge and be productive. Student Unions , Playground etc are also other facilities that are available for the students. I’ve enjoyed my smtime studying in CardiffMet University and i feel that there hasn’t been a single thing that will negatively affect my experience studying here.

The course i am studying is MSC in Human Resource Management. It is taught in class. We have classes on Monday and Wednesday everyweek and the course hours are like seven and six hours respectively.Teachers are very approachable and will help us at any moment in class to clear our doubts and we can contact them through phone call or email for further doubts. Teaching quality is very good and i feel very much motivated to come here and study.

The Llandaff campus is a very good place to learn, the facilities are excellent particularly the Business building. Covid was a difficult time to be a student but I do feel Cardiff Met did well to support students throughout, providing in person learning where possible and managing online learning as best they could despite the obvious difficulties. The uni experience is now back to normal and students can experience the full learning experience with plenty of in person teaching time as well as lots of resources available online which helps for writing assessments and revising.

The teachers are brilliant, very friendly and offer a good engaging teaching style. The modules cover a range of content and provide students with a depth of knowledge around how businesses operate. My course offers me a chance to take a specific pathway with modules that interest you which is a really good option to help engagement on the course.

My year at halls was during covid so it wasn’t the normal experience, however I felt the uni did well to cope with the difficulties at the time, they put in place social distancing measures which impacted socialisation but were obviously necessary at the time. They provided support for students and it felt like a safe environment. The location is a bit away from the city centre but close to the Llandaff campus and the grounds are very nice, the rooms were a decent size and the living room and kitchens were also a good size.
