I absolutely loved my time at Leicester, so much so I'm still here working as an intern. The geography department was outstanding, with interesting material, loads of careers advice, fantastic trips and above all a really close-knit and supporting dynamic between the students and the lecturers. They genuinely listened to the students during my time there, and really pushed to make sure you were happy and confident in your studies. Halls were great, not always the most beautiful buildings, but a great place to live with everyone right on your doorstep. Catered was also a really great choice, despite my initial reservations. The only drawback I would say is that after 3 years some of the nightlife gets very samey. A lot of people don't mind, but I generally wouldn't have kept going to the SU nights if there was much other choice. That said the city centre has a few better places, and it's also incredibly easy to do nights out in Loughborough, Birmingham or Nottingham. Daytime city centre of Leicester was lovely. Generally a really friendly and beautiful place, with lovely parks and lots of facilities. Would highly recommend/
