Surrey has been an incredible place to study. With just a couple of months until graduation, I know I’ll truly miss it. It’s the best learning environment I’ve ever experienced.

The campus is quite diverse and you can easily meet people from all walks of life. Jobs within the uni are very flexible as it is not a contract based job which is great. The lecturers are mostly helpful as well.

Not enough tutor contact time at all. I didn’t even know who my tutor was until the end of October. My course is taught in-class but most exams are still done online. You get 2 hours of lectures and 1 hour of seminar per module, which happens once per week. Lecturers are fairly easy to reach through email.

Very expensive place to live, even as a student.

Did not know there was a residents wifi until mid year. Location is a bit far from the main campus, and unfortunately the University does not offer free shuttle buses but rather we have to pay to take the public bus. Cleaners come once per week.
