The lecturers and the overall uni staff makes the experience a very pleasant and successful academic journey. The worst aspect of my experience at QMU is that a lot of my lectures, seminars and study materials were affected by global issues, such as COVID and the strikes. However, the staff did everything to overcome these difficulties and provide a high level of education but it still had a negative affect on my time at QMU.

Contact with lecturers is excellent, you can always get support when it's needed. The blended learning style can be convenient and difficult at the same time. The limited amount of in-person classes can be a challenge around exam times.

ResLife management was not very helpful when our flat encountered a serious issue with one of out flatmates. The procedures carried out by them in order to solve our issue were slow and inefficient. The layout of my room was poorly designed which resulted in high levels of noise from the kitchen coming into my room

I like that the uni is not that big and you feel like you are part of a community. Also the facilities are new and modern!

I like the mix of online and in person learning

I don’t like that the rooms are very small, but I like the en-suite bathroom
