The facilities of the university are good however more funding needs to go into arts and humanities departments. Also the student support is on the worse side due to a lack of good mental health support. However the campus is probably the most beautiful in the country and if you go to the university the student life is always great.

the content for the course is brilliant however ancient history lacks variety and needs to do more than Greeks and romans. There are little to no modules for placements and no advice about internships. The lecturers are almost all brilliant however some are terrible and are only kept on because they are the only one that can do their module. As a second year I only get 8 hours contact time a week which is shameful.

I did not apply for that hall or anything like that, I applied strictly for self catered non en-suite and I got a catered hall with an en-suite which was out of my budget. The hall was well looked after and was a good hall but just way too expensive.

Best things: There's lots of support if you want it and I find all my teachers to be kind and understanding. Online resources are good and catching up isn't too hard if you miss things. I love the look of Uni Park Campus, though there is a lot of walking. Worst things: Uni life in general isn't as fun as people make it out to be, especially if you're self catered and not great at making friends. It can be hard to look after yourself and find reasons to leave your room. But personally, I find the independence worth it and I love my subject at Nottingham.

Best parts of the course: Lots of variety in modules to choose from. All in-person learning which I prefer. Tutors are all nice and helpful, and willing to see you in office hours. Worst parts: There can be a lot of reading to digest and not every module will interest you. Essays can be confusing too, especially if it's a group project.
