This place is amazing, one of the best universities on the world. This is a fantastic university with great stuff, great facilities and great students. It is also the most beautiful university I have ever seen. The city is also great.

The facilities that the uni have on offer are great, the library, the gym, and lecture theatres really make it what the university is. The sports facilities and societies are great and would recommend everyone to get involved with them. The teaching so far has been a good standard, with good guides and stimulating content throughout my 4 years at the uni. The guidance/student support is something which could be improved on as there were times where i have felt pretty isolated in terms of who i can go to for help. History is quite an independent studies course but it would be great to maybe have drop in sessions with tutors and lecturers. This was most evident in my early years as i felt pretty clueless most of the time as i was adjusting to university life.

There is not much to say about the facilities provided for history as everything you need it either in the archives, the museums, or the library. But i found all three of these to be helpful and beneficial for my own development

Halls was halls, i enjoyed myself. I was lucky in terms that i got a double bed and an en-suite so i couldnt complain with my conditions. The facilities were nice with wifi, heating, and hot water always working when i needed it. Privacy was my only problem as we did get a lot of staff coming into out flat and inspecting it without telling us.
