The university is mostly used for those who commute to the university however the parking can be horrendous, meaning students are forced to leave their cars dumped around the area. This can obviously cause difficulties later on in the year as students may be forced to leave their vehicle In unsafe areas and then be forced to walk back to their cars in the dark on their own. The student union doesn't seem vastly involved, a clear example of this was that no one in the course was aware of the freshers week ongoings as they weren't vastly published. However, the university itself is a nice small place where people tend to recognise each other in the corridors, the facilities on site are also great. The university has a great level of toilet facilities and places to buy food and drink on site. They also accommodate for those who would rather bring their own food into university as they have a variety of different areas to sit and eat. The food prices are also very good on site with many affordable options. Some of the campus is nice and modern however their is a lot of construction occurring on site at the moment which happened to disrupt on of our lectures as machinery was being used outside our lecture room. In term of student life it seems to be only for those who live on site, I think this is again because of the lacking of communication to those who don't live on site.

The course itself isn't recorded, this is a sham because it's easy to miss out things when you are in a quick pace environment. The lecturers have informed us that the can record the lectures themselves but this seems a little bit unfair as students haven't got the equipment to record and store hours and hours of film. Some of our lectures are significantly more beneficial than the others, this Is because in some lectures they let us discuss certain areas of the topic and allows us to have that break in the lecture to discuss with our fellow students and the lecturer about the topic at hand. However in some of our lectures they don't give us this same level of time to discuss what is occurring and give us the time to question any confusions.
