Loughborough Uni definitely has a great campus. there are plenty of different shops (etc) dotted across campus as well as a massive library. the LSU again holds a vast variety of different shops at relatively decent prices, the evenings at LSU are also decently priced as well as spacious, even on busy nights, with many different areas to go to throughout the night. Life at L'boro is definitely alright, pretty much in the centre of England, if you're looking to not go to Uni in a city here is ideal as it isn't too far away from a few cities like Nottingham or Leicester if you wanted to go on a night out there.

History (BA), like most degrees, is very hit and miss with content you find interesting. one benefit i would say about this module is that the exams for myself have either been coursework based or online long-window (23-hours) to complete a 1-2hour exam which is ideal it is very reading-heavy and they do ask a lot of you, literally tens of readings per week spread across the 4 modules per semester. and they do not offer a reading week which would be a God-send as The Atlantic World module is probably the heaviest when it comes to reading on top of the 3000-word coursework that is due about a month and a half into Sem1. personal tutors, from my experience, are great, my personal tutor is extremely approachable and he treats us as equals, which is very different from a levels where even though were young adults or even adults we are still children in the eyes of teachers, which is a very different from Uni.

The Holt is actually a cracking accommodation. for a decent price a small double bed with an en suite, as well as very polite staff. i would definitely recommend to people looking at Loughborough accommodation when it comes to safety, we do have full insurance of our belongings under Unite Students, as well as CCTV pretty much everywhere externally, on top of key card activated doors to get into your block, flat, and bedroom being off campus, the wifi is sometimes a bit slow however, for the most part it works fine the choosing of accommodation as a whole at Loughborough uni could be improved, you can only pick accom from results day, compared to other unis where you can pick it from choosing it as your firm choice, and even then, it is broken down into different days, courses, gender, etc, meaning when it comes to your slot, if your category isn't close to the beginning, you may be left with the worse accoms.

Lectures are more than engaging and the opportunities for placements are endless
