Great course led by great lecturers who are always willing to help and use their knowledge. Great opportunity for engagement with the uni itself through ambassadorship or other opportunities if that’s what interest you. Thriving student life and welcoming student bar. Overall great experience, just the student services like the I zone could be improved

Well in final year now and I never ended up joining any societies because of covid first year or since as too busy in this last year with work and I still live at home while studying and haven’t made any friends so I can’t really rate the students union or the student life. But I don’t really see it those as important while my education has always felt proper and academic with the lovely facilities such as toilets everywhere and even showers though I haven’t used them. I don’t have anything negative to say about Canterbury Christ Church and I think I will miss it though I can always use the skills I’ve learned for my own historical research if I wish.

Sometimes there were compulsory archaeology/history modules however this are really just archaeology modules that heavily want you to write and think like an archaeologist which can be difficult if you don’t know the terminology and processes of archaeology. Despite it still being interesting writing a history essay for these is not appreciated. Other than that history modules have been great with lecturers that clearly know the subject well and even bringing in a fellow lecturer for a lecture and seminar that they specifically research.
