I think the university has a nice atmosphere, it's calm but theres also opportunities to socialise in places such as Rubix or other places in town. I think the only improvements I can think of is there needs to be more efficient transport links to and from Guilford Station and the Stag hill/Manor Park campus. There is a regular bus service however I find it's quite unreliable with timing, I find myself waiting just as long as it would've taken me to walk to Manor Park from Stag hill which is roughly 20 minutes.

It's hard to say since we've just started, all my lecturers seem competent and interested in the subject so I don't think there's any problems regarding that, I just think from the get go we need a little more guidance on the difference between studying psychology at undergraduate and a level since the revision methods will look very different, and so will how we write and structure essays. Additionally, how to approach essential and recommended reading, whether we should take notes on them etc. Upon asking I've been given satisfactory answers from my lecturer but that's the only improvement I can think of.

The location of Manor Park is great to have easy access to the Tesco Extra, but it's quite a long walk to the stag hill campus, and whilst there is a bus service it is very irregular and unreliable when it comes to timing. Room allocation has been okay I've had no problems with that since I had to have preferential accommodation requests. The value for money is okay, I personally have no problems my only complaint is the Eduroam Wifi is unreliable, it has times where it stops working out of nowhere and it's difficult to connect a device that isn't a tablet laptop or phone. For example I can't directly connect my Nintendo Switch to eduroam since it requires you to download it onto your device and login.

The student spaces, especially the nest and the hillside cafe are really nice. They are well kept, nicely decorated, and always have a nice vibe. There are also a lot of campus events always going on which I like. Most of my problems have come from living at Hazel Farm, but I've heard that the university is selling it soon, so that won't be a problem for future students

The course grades are typically based solely on one or two projects, which I'm not a fan of. It puts a lot of pressure on those projects and makes it so there isn't really any reason to show up for class. The lecturers I've met have all been great, passionate people and are typically pretty easy to get in touch with

The bus to the university was cancelled after the first few months here, and while it was replaced (although that is also now being cancelled), it only ran for specific hours so getting to the campus is not always easy, its about a 40 minute bus ride for a <10 minutes car ride. We were also only given one average sized fridge/freezer for 6 people, which is not enough space and makes shopping economically difficult. Things often break but when reported they are typically fixed very fast. The cleaning services are great, the workers do a great job each week and are absolute life-savers. Overall, I'm satisfied with the conditions of the dorms, especially given the fact that they are the cheapest rooms, but the location is inconvenient and isolating
