Amazing, helpful staff always available, amazing library facilities open to students 24/7 with great security staff to ensure safety. Student Union are incredible helpful and supportive, providing an amazing space for students to socialise and seek support, with the Student Union being the number 1 place for signposting to all support from help with finances, any worries students have, or pointing them in the direction of any societies that students may be interested in. Location of the main university campus is right in town centre, which means students can go shopping on their lunches, or go for a walk through town to a variety of buildings, however it can get very busy especially during lunch or later finishes of lectures. Student life is amazing in a busy town - lots of bars, clubs and restaurants, but also quiet social areas as well with a large amount of popular cafes such as Starbucks, Costa and a range of small lunch spots and parks just a short walk from the town centre. Facilities are top of the range, with the university making sure that students can access a wide range of technology to support them in their studies, with laptops being available for loan if students don't have a PC or laptop to use for studies at home/ in the dorms, and always making sure that students know what offices are available if students need to seek support from their specific department, for example, the Department of Science and Health being available for me when I am off campus if I have any worries, or the placement office being available for any placement issues I may have, including record of hours, how to claim expenses back and other issues as well. The department looks after their students, making sure that they have everything they need up to 5 years after students graduate, with career searching support, help with preparation for job applications, or help writing their CV with mentors helping.

Placement is amazing, with the university making sure that what we might or might not see is seen later in a different site, with university sending "link radiographers" who work with both the university and the hospital we are completing our work placement at to make sure any concerns are raised with both the hospital and the university if needed, and the right support if put in place to make sure any issues are resolved. Course content is very informative, and I have been able to apply most of the content while on my work placement, and the subject facilities are amazing, with the university being able to replicate a real x-ray simulation room with real equipment amazingly so we are able to practice with the machine to prepare ourselves for placement, which was really useful. There is an amazing blend of the way our content is taught, with the lecturers being available most of the time to help with any queries we may have had about sessions during the term time before or in between placements.

What do you think about the safety, condition, location and cost of your accommodation?
Amazing reception staff helping with different issues we have had with heating and water going down for a couple of days, with quick response times to these issues and making sure the help is delivered as soon as possible. Quite good value for money, and really good room size, with a single bed but a big room, massive desk, sink and mirror, big wardrobe and windowsill being in the room is very good value. 24/7 security, and parcels are delivered to reception who will not allow anybody but the student collect their parcel, not even someone from the same flat, with halls ID needed to collect any parcels. Really friendly reception staff who are available to answer any questions or concerns that students have, signposting them as needed. Location is a 20 minute bus ride into the main campus, with buses not being very often and about a 20 minute walk to shops, and the university buses only run on weekdays with timing not being very frequent, often only once an hour, which can be a nightmare but it is not a very long walk to the shopping centre. Quiet location, next to the marina and a few pubs which is nice for walks but can be quite cold during winter. However, each room has heating that is included in the rent payments paid in 3 monthly instalments, or there are other more flexible ways to pay for accommodation.
