The campus feels inclusive, and lecturers are approachable, creating a positive environment for both personal and professional growth. My course is delivered through blended learning, combining in-class teaching, online resources, and structured placement blocks. The teaching hours are well organised, and practical sessions prepare me for clinical practice. Placements offer valuable hands-on experience, though the quality can vary. Lecturers are approachable and supportive, but communication could be clearer at times. Increasing contact time and providing more consistent placement coordination would further improve the overall learning experience.

Strong focus on developing useful job skills. It is a quiet campus/city as most students commute in from other places. So if your priority is a party atmosphere and lots of clubbing/night life activities then this isn't the uni for you even if it is easily commutable to London. But if your priority is studies and gaining employable skills then Herts is great for that. Incredibly supportive teaching staff who are focused on helping students succeed.

The ensuite rooms are very good. However, I think 8 people in a flat sharing a communal kitchen is a bit much. The fridge and freezer space is insufficient for so many people and you end up having to grocery shop more often as a result. This becomes an extra difficult problem if you have flatmates who invites their friends (who don't live in the flat)over constantly to cook and eat. When that happens it feels like you're sharing the communal space with over a dozen people and fridge space becomes even more difficult to share due to that flatmate shopping for multiple people who don't live in the flat.
