Despite the challenges of online teaching, the university of Dundee have adapted to this change well. Lectures have been engaging and I often feel that I learn better from them as I can go back and rewatch areas that are less clear. The university has also communicated well with students keeping us up to date when in teaching classes may start and providing us with resources if we require further support.

Located perfectly between the city centre and Perth Road. Library and union well placed between first year accommodation. Accommodation could do with some improvement! As well as student support - but that is mainly directed towards the medical school. Union is an amazing experience in first year and there is a brilliant on-campus vibe throughout the earlier years of uni. Surrounded by lots of bars and restaurants and cafe's that even open late to support students revision.

When entering 4th/5th year (placement years) you are essentially left alone! No personal tutor, no one overseeing your learning to check you are able to access the correct opportunities. Depending on location of placement - and you can be sent miles and miles away without agreeing to this!!! - you can get a real varied experience and this has a negative and unfair impact on exams. We are often sent away from placements or made to feel useless and annoying. Years 1-3, which involve lectures and tutorials, are well taught and the facilities in Ninewells are good! There does need to be more integration between medics and non-medics however, as medics must attend Ninewells every day so rarely get time on campus to meet non-medics. There are even specific medic sport societies, further separating the students.

Wasn't clean upon arrival however rooms were much nicer than any other halls I visited. En-suites for everyone and 3/4 size beds. Sofas and TV's in kitchens and good fridge/freezer space. Clean corridors and lifts and safe lock access.
