Studying UCLAN has so far a wonderful experience where I have felt comfortable and supported since day one. Uclan’s campus has everything you could need as a student, especially the library, cafes and on campus Starbucks :) This university has a great location, only a 10 minute walk away from the train station making it easily accessible. Personal to myself, I have enjoyed every minute of the Social Work BA Hons course, with lovely, supportive lecturers and inclusive seminars I have already learnt so much!!

This course has been an interactive, interesting course so far. Ranging from full group lecturers and smaller group seminars to one to one time with course leaders and tutors where I have has the ability to ask questions and feel fully supported and comfortable moving forward in my degree. There have been many career and volunteering opportunities that have been given to us. I am looking forward to starting placement next year.

It is in a great location, within walking distance of the bus and train stations. The staff are very supportive during lectures due to there small class size, which allows for more in-depth interaction between staff and students. The worst aspect is they have built a new building and keep pushing back the move in date so at the start of each semester there is confusion on where our lectures are.

The course is in person and taught over three days a week, 10 am-3 pm. This allows for ease of scheduling other commitments or work obligations and helps to maintain a work-life balance.
