Really amazing university experience. I love being here and it feels like home as it is a small university and a small town so everyone gets to know each other.

Excellent student support and very approachable staff

Academic support is really good. Staff is really approachable for any queries you have and they are really friendly as the class sizes are small and you get to know the tutors really well. Personal support has been absolutely amazing and the student support has helped me so much within a short span of time.

SU facilities are really good. During the day, you have the refractory, serving hot food and the bar as well, which opens at night. There is a gym and other social areas as well.

Yes. It is withing walking distance for central university locations and a ten minute walk from the town. There are corner shops very closeby too.

A wide variety of sports. I loved the going society the most. Could have more societies but I am happy with what's there

I like how the course has early clinical placements(from term 2 itself) and how it is very integrated. The short time span could be really hectic though and the information delivered could be a little bit more streamlined.

Buckingham is such a quaint town, the people are amazing, the scenery is beautiful. The exact sort of serene, safe environment a university should have. This is just one of the reasons I enjoy studying Medicine, as a pioneer student, in Buckingham.

My wifi so far hasn't failed me. The Internet is super speedy. My course also provides me with a free iPad which is so much better for annotating during lectures

Whenever I have issues regarding my work load or even if I have to take some time off the student support team have been on the ball. Giving me quick, sharp service and guidance - ensuring I make the most of my time here

The occasional party at the SU is a great way to catch up with everyone

This small humble town has about 9-10 pubs, all extremely traditional with a lovely friendly atmosphere. The place to come for a quiet drink with your mates

The sporting clubs are really fun. We play games for about two hours and it's fantastic to mingle with people on different courses

My course has so far been unbelievable. By chatting to my other friends in different unis I know that Buckingham is extremely unique and is approaching medicine in a new way. Since our classes are small we are close knit, and our lecturers are considered friends

As a medic I know that getting placement in my foundation years will be tricky. My tutors and lecturers have already re-assured us that no matter what, as long as we pass - we are guaranteed a place

My accommodation is safe, comfortable, and my room is of a decent size. I have my own ensuite bathroom and the maintenance are extremely efficient.
