The university is always clean and all the staff (from cleaners to lecturers) are so kind and helpful! The only thing I’ve found to cause a slight problem is the lecture theatre in Parkside that doesn’t have any tables in it. Quite hard to balance my laptop on my lap for 2 hours!

The best aspect of my course is the staff. I cannot praise them enough, they’re always so helpful and supportive there’s never a ‘stupid question’ you could ask. I did a foundation year last year and didn’t feel unsupported by any staff, and this has continued into my first semester of my degree. I know I mentioned this previously but I can’t think of anything bad about my course itself other than the lecture theatre with no tables that we have 3 hours a week in

I’m not very outgoing so didn’t take part in freshers and didn’t make many friends. But the university always finds ways to try and make everyone included even those who aren’t sure how to make friends The university are very efficient with ensuring all students have a support system in place starting with personal tutors. We also have the ability to contact other areas of support 24/7

The course is good. They do however take on a very big cohort each year and it can be a bit overwhelming, and it’s clear that with that many students there isn’t quite enough time for one to one support. However the module leaders and seminar leaders always encourage student to email with any questions and reach out for support
