Best thing is that everything is literally on your doorstep, i genuinely don’t have anything bad to say about this uni

Best part of my course is having lots of teaching time and 1-1 opportunities, the worst part is that it’s condensed into two long days instead of spread across the week

The uni is so well situated. You have plenty of shops within a short walk from all accomodations, it's right by the train station so it's easy to travel to and from home, everything you need is in walking distance. There's plenty of clubs and pubs for social nights. And lots of society options too which are super easy to join!

This course I the perfect all rounder. You learn about so many different things related to health and social care. Including some psychology, biology and sociology. The course tends to be a small a cohort so the class really gets to know each other well. During the first year I had a mixture of online learning and in-class learning. I was in for 3 days a week during my first year. The lectures and programme lead really take your opinions into account and they take on board new ideas to try and make the course better.

In Gateway I stayed in a studio apartment. It's more on the expensive side but totally worth it. We had access to a communal living room but we had our own kitchens so we didn't have to clean up other people's mess. The laundry facilities are hit and miss, it depends on the day as to how busy it is. It's in a great location too, 5min walk to Morrisons and a 5min walk to get onto campus (and a bonus is it's right next door to mcdonalds haha)
