I have love my time here at YSJ, all I can say if appreciate it because it goes so quick I am in third year now and it seems like yesterday I was pulling up to YSJ an finding my halls and flatmates! If you are in first year live it to the max! If you are in second year start working because the better you do now, the easier it will be in third year!

With the uni being slightly smaller than most it does feel nice to be there and the environment is welcoming and the facilities such as the SU and the library are really nice, I also love my course. The only negatives I have is that we have been promised trips that have suddenly then not been an option because of ‘money’ however they have the money to build brand new buildings. And I also think there is a lack of communication sometimes between staff.

I love my course because I have a lovely class of people and the lecturers are there to support you.
However, I feel the one day a week with the lecturers for a full time course isn’t very much at all considering the price of uni. Also I think the course needs more technical lessons at the start, I felt like uni presume that everyone knows all the software but that really isn’t true. The work load for this course is also a lot more than other subjects.
