The only reason why the student life rating is so low, is because I have been quite alone since being at uni and my mental health has really not been great. However I am now slowly improving thanks to all the help I have received, if I hadn't had the help it would have either been a 1 or 2. The uni itself is amazing. The campus is lovely and the facilities are also great. The staff give amazing feedback and ideas for my course but also give enough room so I can create and explore things on my own. Overall, I really love this university and all it has to offer.

We have access to a wide range of technologies and processes for our work. The content itself is very fun and again very broad. There is so many different directions you can take a project because of it. The teaching is a decent amount of time. Obviously with such a big group and different years. We have to split it up some how and have 2 hours dedicated timetabled time to a certain selection of us. Of course we can come in before hand and try and have more time, but right now its limited to 2 days a week were we can speak to specific tutors and receive feedback. We haven't gotten round to doing proper work placements or work experience yet. I think we have access to that next year. However we have had two opportunities to work with people from outside the uni. One being a company for sauce/pesto, the other being a community run fundraiser/awareness for a natural space. We have been limited to very specific due dates and at the end a select few will be chosen for interviews. So in all, a good intro to work life before next year.

I think our studio being open throughout the weekend would be a massive plus as I mostly get the urge to work over the weekend and I know a few people have mentioned the same thing. I am aware that the library is open 24/7 however it's not really the environment I want to work in as it feels too academic.

More one to one tutorials would help me as I don't like speaking out in lessons so I feel like I'm not sure on when and where to ask tutors what I need to.

very happy with my accommodation, it's a very nice and safe environment. clean always and staff are lovely.
