My overall college experience has been extremely positive as i have learnt a lot about my area of study as well as gaining independance. I think that the university is setting me up well for life after education

Good for a small campus

We are given feedback on our work every week which is extremely helpful in allowing us to change work quickly

I think there are lots of facilities and societes available to a wide variety of students ?

Very restricted by the size of the city but good.

I like the briefs we are set and the support we are given by the tutors. However the feedback is very subjective depending on the taste of the individual tutor, so sometimes results are conflicing.

Thoroughly enjoying the experience, learning a lot, trying to learn how to manage time better so I don't have to live deadline to deadline. Not very good at taking breaks, but enjoying the work and the social scene

Illustration studio, maker lab and library are my most frequented facilities. All are very satisfactory and offers a range of help and support and the opportunity to learn new things.

Great health and mental health services on campus. Tutors always available to schedule a talk about work or university life.

Have not been much involved with the students union, was course rep in second year, but as a foreign student it has been enough just keeping on top of written assignments and other project work. Joined a couple societies first year. Third year I have not been involved at all. dissertation and major final projects have been enough.

Nice, concentrated city centre with all necessary shops and services. little cafes, restaurants and places to go partying. A bit of a walk form the centre if you want to go for a walk in nature, but all in all, cute place to live

Wide range of sports clubs and societies. Most seem to be running well. Personally not good at setting aside hours every week for activities as my way of working is inspiration based and I don't like breaking workflow for pre scheduled activities. Maybe more creative societies would be desirable.

I like the variation of project that allows student to try different types of illustrations that applies to different parts of the creative industry. Very practical, hands on and focus on learning and progress just as much as final results. would be nice if a project could be finished before breaks sometimes so one could have a proper break over Christmas or Easter, without projects constantly in the back of ones mind

The careers centre offers a range of workshops and courses for students to obtain new skills and increase ones employability. Guest lecturers come in and talk about the creative business and how they approached different companies. Lecturers encourage finding relevant work placements over summer to gain experience whilst still in uni.
