Love studying in the student centre and library - especially in the silent zone. Could be improved by more university organised/planned socials so can meet people from other courses too!

Like the in person lectures and really love the multiple choice quizzes to practice after lectures. Would also love more recommended videos and documentaries for general interest that relate to subject so can explore in more detail.

Could be better managed as some windows when walking up the stairs are rotting and shower head doesn't fit in shower. Could maybe ask question of do people smoke to be considered in room allocations as scent of smoke can be off-putting in hallway.

I love my university; the lecturers of my course were great and there is constant outreach about career support, job oppurtunities, as well as support from staff almost all the time. However, one fault I have with the university is how the campus has almost always been a building site, other than my first year - which was during covid, so a lot of building work couldn't be completed - it has ALWAYS been a building site. The areas that are accessible are great; the bars, restaurants and shops are incredibly helpful but whenever I walk around campus it just feels like a concrete jungle. The student life is great, Brighton is an amazing city with amazing accessibility from the campus. The campus is surrounded by countryside which makes exercise and walks easy. The student union is great and informative, however I feel like a lot of the students within the student union can often come across as arrogant. In terms of facilities, there are plenty on campus, but also loads locally, or within Brighton.

I also love my course, I think most of the coure content has been great, except 1 or 2 necessary modules. In first year I despised one of my Geology modules 'Understanding Earth' because it was so incredibly boring. It was during Covid, at 9am, with a lovely albeit monotonous lecturer. Don't get me wrong, he was a lovely guy, but I struggled during those online classes. I couldn't connect and it led to me failing it, which in turn led to a breakdown causing me to have a panic gap year between first and second year. However, I mostly blame zoom - now that courses are in person again, they feel incredible. Most content is clearly presented, and when it isn't, if you express confusion lecturers are happy to rephrase/re-explain. Melissa Lazenby and Ben Rogaly are two of the best teachers I've had throughout my whole education experience - they are amazing at what they do! In terms of subject facilities, there are plenty of rooms to work in, and the lecture halls are great, but I don't really know anything about 'Geography spaces'; other subjects have their own spaces to study and talk to fellow students, whereas I wouldn't know where to go to do that within my subject.

Norwich House is pretty central to everything on campus, making it easily accessible, despite being up a rather steep hill. That was about the only benefit though. It was a safe place, but once someone had a key, there wasn't really a way to prevent someone from entering the different apartments, and therefore you would have random people, including security, into your kitchen or sometimes I felt like I could never leave my door unlocked because someone could steal my stuff. The room itself was fine, the toilets weren't in the room, but there was a sink, which was useful. The kitchen was horribly dirty and pretty small, and we had a mice infestation. Our showers were full of insects, especially silverfish and daddy long legs. Wifi was bad but theyn provided a wifi booster upon complaint. The property was managed dreadful; there were constant leaks to the point that it always smelled like damp, the windows were falling off their hinges,
