I absolutely love the Environmental Geography and Outdoor Education course here at Stirling University. The lecturers are all so passionate and enthusiastic about their subject and this is so encouraging as a student to participate and gain as much out of my degree as possible! Outdoor education has been everything that I hoped for, generally a small group meaning that on course field trips you really bond and make true friends. The sports facilities are incredible and as a first year student I cannot recommend the University of Stirling enough to future and potential applicants. The only thing which in my opinion could be improved is access to some information. Most information is accessed via social media regarding social events and clubs however due to not having social media I am very reliant upon word of mouth instead. It is working out so far but consideration is not necessarily always taken about this fact though I am in the minority of students since most do in fact have social media.

I am in the cheapest accomodation at University of Stirling and so as expected the room size is small and kitchen space and fridge space are minimal. Despite this storage space in the rooms are fairly good and I am more than happy with where I am staying. When coming to university I did not expect amazing accomodation however Polwarth house certainly serves all the needs that I have as a student. I have a room that I can study and sleep in, there is a laundrette very close by and the kitchen though basic has all that I need. The accomodation itself is a 5 minute walk from main campus and so as a result is very accessible for my lectures and events in campus. I am very content with where I am staying.
