Sheffield is close to the peak district and feels like a green city, with lots of parks and trees. The SU is great; there are so many societies that you can join and get involved with - there's something for everyone! The facilities are plentiful land staff and students around are friendly and interested in learning, they help you achieve what you want to.

I really enjoyed my work placement year. Although I organised this myself, the university provided some experiences which I could draw from during interviews and when constructing a Cv and cover letter. I have had a lot of contact time and the lecturers are always happy to talk more about the subject if you want to.

Accommodation was clean and there was space for everyone. It's a little bit of a walk into some parts of the uni but that's not unusual for any accommodation.
