Tell us about your overall university experience so far.
The best aspect is the competent and welcoming community in my field. It has great academics who are genuinely interested in sharing knowledge and build a community. It could be improved by having more activities for PhD students. Most of the things happening are targeted to undergraduates.

I have no classes because I'm in a PhD, but the ones I audited were excellent. The supervision time I have monthly is also fundamental for my research to grow, and it's very fulfilling. My supervisor always have ideas to share, and even if I don't meet him more than once a month, we have constant contact through emails. The other professor are also always available to help.

What do you think about the safety, condition, location and cost of your accommodation?
The student accommodations are very expensive, and the fact that you can't stay there for more than a month is also annoying, because it means you'll have to move in-between years. The contract ends mid-June, making it difficult to find something permanent straight away. There is no phone signal in the room, which I think undermines safety. The staff won't do much about this.
