Takes student opinions into good consideration when making decisions, and has a lot of opportunities with volunteering, placements, societies, sports and languages. However, organisation in many departments is very questionable at best and student services aren't very helpful.

Plenty of computer spaces and places to work. The library is also large and the staff are helpful. The gym is also quite good with a wide choice of classes.

Student support services are quite possibly the least supportive people I've come across since being at NTU. Mine and my friend's experience of them has not been great, however I imagine other students have benefitted from it somewhat.

Excellent service and food in the SU, however we do have to pay to get into our own students' union club, which while I understand may be a funding issue, it is a bit of a joke considering how much we pay a year towards the university.

No end of bars, clubs, restaurants, shops, salons, the list is endless. Such a lovely city to live in.

There's a very wide range of well organised societies which each come with great benefits. However, being a multi-campus university there is the issue of some clubs and societies only being available at one campus.

Lecturers and seminar tutors can vary widely. There is a wide range of courses and modules, but their levels of quality differ greatly. The assessments are update to date and relevant and given in a way that replicates the real world.

A lot of emphasis on employability with a strong, dedicated employability team and volunteering team. Plenty of workshops on CV builders and interview techniques as well.

Can seem quite pricey in comparison to private accommodation and other universities but it is a good service with good cleaning, security and management.
