When I first visited NTU, specifically Clifton Campus, a wave of excitement went over me and I was just so impressed by the campus. I couldn't wait to get stuck in. I felt like I was in a film, it was bizarre but a feeling I'll never forget. It's a great place to study with lots of study spaces and more intimate nooks to get your head down and get some work done. NTU also has some of the latest tech and equipment, for us in Forensics that was the Super lab, which again just wowed me when I first went in. Every year in induction week we are reminded of the support the University offers whether its in employability, finance, mental health... I myself received some counselling through the Uni which couldn't have helped me more. I think I would have dropped out if I hadn't had so much support from the University and my lecturers. In terms of improvements, I think extra car parking space would benefit the campus, just because queueing for the bus in the winter isn't always pleasant. Other than that, I cannot fault my Uni experience with NTU!

My course is mainly taught in person with lots of lab time and workshops, keeping things interesting. My lecturers are always there if we need them and always go the extra mile to help where they can, whether that's clarifying instructions for assessments, helping people access student services and seeing them through to getting the help they need, or just generally being present in the classroom and caring for students. My 4th year has less course hours in comparison to previous years, as we are encouraged to take initiative and research at home.

I’m from Nottingham and Trent is really great and my experience has been amazing even though we had a pandemic.

Great way they did teaching during the pandemic and then brought back in persons in a safe manner in my 3rd year.
