Having studied at Christ Church for my undergraduate degree and now my postgraduate degree, my favourite thing about the University is the experience that the lecturers bring to the course. This was one of the main reasons I chose to to carry on my studies with Christ Church. The lecturers are extremely helpful when you need it most, the understand that the students have other commitments. Equally, I have personally had some health issues and approaching the University (as well as the mental well-being team) for help was easy and unintimidating. The work in my postgraduate degree is very applied and I really feel like I am learning how to be a Forensic Psychologist. Equally, for me, Uni life is great because I know I am surrounded by people who want to be there. Overall, I have loved my University experience and highly recommend studying at Christ Church. The only negative thing I have to say is during my third year, a lot of students felt as though the marking that was being done by the lecturers was not very consistent. We complained about this but nothing appeared to have been done about it. However, I know that at Christ Church we are moving towards anonymous marking to ensure students are marked more fairly.

I love my course! I knew the moment the first lecture started that i chose the right Masters degree. The course is taught in person, and having this way of teaching really makes me feel like I have had a proper Uni experiencing. I am doing the full time (1 year) course so we get quite a good amount of weekly teaching hours, but also time do to independent studying and learning. The lecturers on the course have real life experience which I think is very important because Forensic Psychology is a very applied subject. The only thing I struggle with is how close together all the assignments are. However, because this is an MSC course, I was expecting this.
