The tutors are really welcoming at the start of the course, and explain aspects quite well. There's parts throughout art which need improving, the first term seemed to drag as there wasn't much work to be given or received, as we focused on doing one 2 hour workshop a week. I would have preferred the course pick up faster than it did, as I already knew how to do the majority of the workshops we were inducted into, and so I felt a bit in limbo as if there were no point to the start of the course. But it's picked up now we're in January and I'm beginning to feel more challenged and ready to do work.

I had some problems at the start of the year with accommodation, I wasn't exactly sure where I was going to be staying, but the as soon as I mentioned it to the student services they sorted it out instantly. The student services could be improved, they should have sorted it out as soon as I'd applied for my accommodation, but once I bugged them they instantly solved it. I don't understand why people complain about them so much, they handle thousands of students and rarely slip up. If you have a problem, don't be afraid to visit them.
