No matter what your background there is an air of acceptance from everyone you meet at the uni. There are some really quiet areas which are perfect for me to study considering I have autism and get overwhelmed sometimes. It's very accommodating to disabled people and to LGBTQ+ people.

My course is one of the more interesting courses you can do at the uni, it's not a very big class which I like since it's more of a close knit bunch of people and the tutors are all incredible, lovely and highly knowledgeable. Because of the size of the class there is a lot of time available for tutors to work with you to help you if you're struggling.

The Mithras halls are all new build halls which means the buildings themselves are very lovely and new, regency specifically is on top of the laundry and common room area which I'm a fan of for convenience. I've had some problems with my room since being here like the bedframe breaking several times and needing to be replaced because it's a weak material and the bathroom sink was missing a part when i got here, but the maintenance team were quite speedy about coming to fix it. You definitely pay a lot more than if you were staying at other halls, but in my mind it covers the cost of having a cleaner come every friday which I could personally live without as I'm quite a tidy person but anyways. Locations great, if you have your lectures at mithras house you could probably get up 15 minutes before your lecture and get there on time, other buildings are a bit far away but not awful because there is a bridge attached to the accommodation which makes it easier than crossing the road to get over there.

Best aspect is being right in the city center.

Good contact with lectures but lack of help with supplies for a creative course.
