It is good at the university overall as there are lots of career fairs put on to help with employability. The city is very pretty and the people here are very friendly and nice. The clubs and societies are varied and lots of fun.

Generally they are good but they need to be bigger.

There are different supports provided to students such as international offices.

I have joined Bright Futures York Society which helps to improve employability for students; I have also joined ballet society.

The lecturers and tutors are helpful in answering questions.

This is one of the issues I am worried about mostly, because in order to be employed I need a visa to be provided for me. For international students the visa/ employability issues as well as the culture and language might be a problem too.

My room is nice but the kitchen is too small and sometimes it is a bit noisy.

My overall experience has been great, I have met good people and I am learning lots of different things; but it is a shame that I am in thousands of pounds debt and I am satisfied with the university facilities.

There are low contact hours and everything is local.
