University of Reading is a wonderful place to be in. It offers students an esteemed education with the best of academic lecturers and high quality course material and a wealth of experience on campus life helping mould students with the required technical skills that are attractive to employers. The higher education received at UoR opens up a world of opportunities for students to reach ambitious goals in their careers but also provides globally well recognised qualifications and enables them to be the change they perceive in various disciplines. The multi-cultural inclusive environment helps students settle faster to life at university whether they are from the UK or International students and provides opportunity to learn and grow respecting diversity. It also helps networking and builds strong links professionally through a vibrant alumni. Therefore I am grateful to be part the UoR . In my view, the university experience could be improved by increasing practical participation in field/industry visits. This I believe would provide a more hands on learning experience. However, I do understand the modules cover a wide spectrum and time remains the key constraint for any additional learning opportunities. Thank you UoR. The courses comprise of compusary modules and elective modules. They are taught in person however, most lecturers do provide screen casts of previous recordings. This is very helpful for preparing for the in class lectures/ seminars and also in circomestances when students aren't able to attend lectures physically for valid reasons. The taught hours span from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm and timetables are managed without overlaps of modules. Further, each individual lecturer communicates times and places of their availability via formal sources, providing the oppertunity for students to have 1:1 consultations with the tutors outside of lecture times for further clarification on subject matter.

I think Reading is amazing. The campus is great and the library is really pretty with lots and lots of relevant books in. If you are going to come to visit Reading you should go to the Students' Union - it's really good and you'll definitely stay!
