I love everything at the uni. From the size of the classes and class rooms to the Ele house and forum. The only complain I have is the shuttles most days are delayed and can be super unpredictable. Other than that if I love the university. All of the staff are super helpful and if they don’t know they answer themselves they point me to the person or place that has the answer. I struggled with the how classes are structured here compared to where I’m from but with help from the professors and staff I am starting to get a hang things. This is my first time out of the US and was very nervous about coming over and being so far from home. As soon as I got here I felt welcomed and I knew that Herts had my back with academics but also the personal side of it to make sure we get the most out of our time at the university. Highly recommend and couldn’t ask for a better uni. Love the experience so far.

The schooling here is different than it is in the US so I’m still adjusting. The professors and staff have been super helpful in the transition. Each week that passes I feel more and more comfortable in my classes

I love the accommodations here at college lane. You have your personal room if you ever need a break or a quiet place to work and rest. The living space is amazing and a great place to hang with flat mates and friends. I thought sharing a bathroom would be bad but it really isn’t bad. One complaint I have which isn’t even a big deal but I wish there was more to do in the Bellingham common room. Other common rooms have pool tables and table tennis. Bellingham court has nice sitting areas but that’s about it. The last complaint is the shuttles again. Sometimes I’ll get to the busses at 10 and be to de hav by 10:15 other times I may not get there till 10:40. Overall great place to stay.

The best thing about uni is the support you can receive and I have always felt listened to when reaching out for help. That is both academically and for my well-being. As a commuting student, it is harder socially, but there are still lots of free events that you can go to on campus should you choose to.

The course I was all good and they work hard to put us on as few days a week as possible. There’s lots of content available in line and we can reach out to a lectures at any time.
