Student Union is great and campus is in a good location. Support could be better

My location was very far out of brighton but the actual halls were great

The University of Brighton has a really great community, and the student societies are amazing. There is also excellent student support for academic work and mental health. While I’d love to see a few more food options, it’s still a fantastic place to study, and the atmosphere is wonderful!

The course is well structured and the lecturers are really supportive. I have also accessed the career services, which has helped me feel much more prepared for graduate role applications. It is a challenging but rewarding course that helps bridge the gap between theory and real-world economics and finance.

Staying in the halls was a great choice, especially because of the 24-hour CCTV which makes me feel really safe, even when coming back late from the library. The shared kitchen and living areas are modern and great for socialising, and having TVs in the communal spots adds a really nice touch. It is really convenient having everything within easy reach, which definitely helped me settle in quickly as an international student.
