I think the best is the getting to know people, meeting people you never would of met before as well. I really like how diverse it is as welll , so many different cultures

My course has been going well so far , it has been hard to contact some teachers, but they have loads to deal with so that is understandble, and they all get back at the end of the day

MY accomdation is okay, its quite close to the buildings I need to be in, which is great , i love that we have a gym , the only thing is sometimes when we have a problem and try contact Unite students they don't always get back

I really enjoy studying at University of Portsmouth because of its social networking and wide spread campus - I don't feel trapped and confided to one space. The town is nice, and being close to the beach is also a bonus! The facilities here are amazing, especially as a film student: having access to equipment and software enhances my learning and experience.

So far, I thoroughly enjoy studying Film Production at Portsmouth. As a student, I have access to equipment and software that enhances my learning and experience, as well as passionate lecturers with industry experience, which makes being taught by them feel more personal and passionate. I think having more scheduled tutor time would be beneficial, although I'm aware you can book 1-1 sessions with tutors and lecturers alike, I would also opt for more in person learning - I feel learning online (unless this is the only option) isn't as effective as being taught within a classroom and its easier for someone to loose attention when there isn't a teacher present. I like the course content and feel it is aiding me in my (hopefully) future career in film but arguably again I would say maybe more lesson time would be beneficial or time spent with equipment.

For the most part, the location of Margaret Rule Halls is perfect. For me, its hardly a 5 minute walk to all of my University campuses for lectures and seminars, I live on the outside of cascades town and barely even a 20 minute walk to the Gunwharf Quays town centre - everything you need is right around the corner. As someone who has never lived in the city before, its not too loud and the social/night life here is great - living so close to town allows me to easily get home after a night out or run to the shop to grab some food for the evening. My flat is cosy and fit for 5 people, although often having to squeeze all your shopping into the fridge or fight for space to dry your washing on the draining board, its a nice place to live overall. The room sizes are good value for money, the washroom is okay but its nothing fancy. Overall, I like living in Margaret Rule Halls in Portsmouth and currently have no complaints!
