Overall the university and course is great so far however when staying on campus you will still be treat like a child in the way that you are limited to your use of the wifi and can’t access online games / certain websites to watch films and TV which makes the free time a lot harder to get through.

The course has been interesting and the teachers are good but they’re method of putting us into groups for a group project was massively flawed and made no sense and now it is an important part of the course.

The location in relation to the university’s lecture rooms and the town centre is perfect. The wifi would be suitable for if children were staying here as we are massively restricted to what we can enjoy (no online gaming, streaming films and TV is limited) which makes staying in accommodation extremely boring. The fridge often freezes food and causes so much waste.

Creative campus is a nice small community on the edge of a big city. It offers the best of both worlds. The staff are really supportive and try to make the course as accessible as possible for everyone, as well as making themselves available for one-to-ones if extra advice / support is needed. Ideally for a film and media course we would have a bigger space for practical work which is one area in terms of facilities that uni does not offer. We unfortunately do not have available photography / filmmaking studio spaces. Areas that we able to complete animation practical and photography work are only available for a limited one day a week when we are completing that module.

Best aspects: - Tutors are readily available to schedule zoom meetings to give extra support. - They are very in depth in their teaching of the topics - They make the course very accessible and assignments more straightforward to navigate - Media hatch / edit suite etc available to book Worst aspects: - Not enough space to have a dedicated filmmaking studio or spaces to book out to do independent practical work that is not editing / computer based

Needed more washing machines and dryers as three of each to cater for 150 + students is not good enough.
