I joined BNU because of the facilities avaliable for my course. I am most interested in video editing and they have several editing suites available for me to use.

I love the variety of all of the modules on my course. One day I could be making a film and the next day I could be writing a script that could be filmed next term.

the student life is very fun, there are so many events on at the uni all the time and they are all free and the events vary in theme. There is something for everyone and they encourage a lot of socializing which really helped me in making friends. The people are all usually really friendly, staff included. The uni is always making improvements, since ive been here they have made a new cafe and introduced new drinks at students request and thats just the stuff im aware of. The library is also really nice and it is open 24/7 which is really useful.

the lecturers are really helpful and respond with good feedback. We have access to a huge range of equipment which is so helpful.

i like living here because the gates help me not to worry about being broken into or followed home or things like that. The wifi is quite bad but i think it depends on the day and location. We get cleaners that come once a week which is really helpful, and most issues with broken things get solved fairly quick. Washing your clothes is a bit of a hassle as the app doesnt always work. The price is really good though, which is what made me pick this accommodation and the people ive met in my flat have become some of my closest friends. Its also really close to the uni which gives me more time to get ready in the morning and also makes me more inclined to go to the uni events.
