The best part about AUB is definitely the social life as the uni accommodations are located in the same area as BU students resulting in a great student night life :)

There is a lot more essay writing that I had anticipated, so far in first year it feels 50/50 practical and theory.

A 2 minute walk to the nearest night club and a 10 minute walk to Bournemouth pier.

Good level of support and understanding of personal issues, range of facilities are available for course and helpful with personal projects too, for example equipment can be hired temporarily. Sometimes disorganised but it’s part of the challenge of a practical & collaborative course. Main issue is sometimes there’s nothing to do and other times there’s far too much to do. More balance would put less strain on mental health, however again it’s part of the challenge of organising a collaborative course. They are very receptive to feedback.

Certain subjects are online whilst most are in person. Course content is excellent in my opinion and provides plenty of insight into various areas of film production. Specialisms are structured in a way that allows you to gain practical experience, and subjects can be studied alongside specialism for personal benefit too.
