For my course specifically, the facilities aren't anything outstanding despite being ranked supposedly top in the country when I applied. Campus itself is pleasant but located in suburban area, bit far from anything. Student life, fairly moderate but compared to bigger cities could be seen as lesser. However, UoE support system really does catch my praise, always someone available to contact if you are having a problem with something, personal tutors always available for whatever it may be concerning you.

Course content does often feel like a 'mickey-mouse-degree', not a very broad range of options and feel quite underwhelming. My experience with seminars has been largely disappointing, content does not feel engaging and even then, the personal choice to engage with the material is not rewarding or satisfying, barely impacting your final grade. Facilities have ups and downs, some great technology available but accessibility is compromised, e.g. only access to Adobe software is in an off-campus computer suite. Some modules lack concrete reason for why they are structured as such, sometimes feeling rushed and disorganised.

£200 a week is on a higher end, but I did have maximum amenities, e.g double bed and en-suite. Any issues I could immediately report via app and they would be promptly resolved. Located 10 mins from main campus. No complaints.
