I believe this is a great place to study and educate yourself due to the support from staff and students union my only issue is with certain timing of lessons due to some of us living quite far away from campus this can be improved by breaks being only an hour so students can get home on time other than that issue i have no complaints

Overall this course is great I personally wish there were courses focusing mainly on a particualr area of film instead of exsploring all areas, but i believe the support we get within the course along with the lectures passionate teaching really makes it a great course

i have had the opportunity to use the incredible gym facilities on the basement floor of mdx house that offer a membership of only £20 per academic year on off-peak hours for current students. MDX house is a social hub which includes a pool table, table tennis, basketball stand and a food kiosks making it a great place to unwind between classes

On the course, we are encouraged to give feedback on the quality of our modules and reach out to our lectures for advice and guidance on assignments. I think this has a positive feedback in building trust between students and module leaders as well as being able to look to our peers for guidance and support As students we are able to utilize the skills we learn into first hand filmmaking experience both in studio shoot excersises, working on student film projects and recieve guidance in finding placements using these specialised skills which would in turn prepare us for when we go in to the industry
