So far the experience has been incredible, I've met so many nice people, and the course is exciting to learn, I fully recommend this uni to anyone who's interested in moving into the creative industry.

Facilities

How good are your university's facilities?

Not very good due to the faft that it is my first time trying 3d modelling

Student support

How good is the support offered by the uni? Think both academic (tutors/feedback) and personal (counselling, etc).

I can't say anything for the counselling as I haven't used the resource, however the feedback from the tutors is very very good, if you're falling behind in a lesson, at least in my experience, the tutor or the class assistant will come over and help you catch up and understand where you went wrong.

Local life

Is your university in a good location in terms of distance to accommodation and local amenities?

The uni is in holborn, in the centre of London so I'm always discovering more things by just strolling about the area. Accommodation wise, if you're willing to pay 220 a week then you can live next to uni if not the commute is about 45minutes-1hour its pretty reasonable for London.

Lecturers and teaching quality

What do you like most and least about the way your course(s) are taught?

The thing i like the most is also the thing i like least, its that the lessons are taught at a pretty fast pace, i can be nice if you are understanding what is going on, but it can also be hard if you get caught behind, you have to frantically try to catch up or youll be lost for ages

How does your uni make efforts to increase your employability (careers department, work placements, transferable skills)?

The courses provided by the uni will take us all far in the creative industry as the film, tv and games industry is getting bigger every year and is clear it will not slow down anytime soon. I am still in my first year so i have no experienced the work placements however some year threes tell me that it was simple with some help for the uni
