Best aspect - the support I am getting for my wellbeing and health. I feel included and can ask for any help I need Worst aspect- I love my course however it is very tailored to film and TV and not always media so the course could be tailored in seminars to the correct course

Best - I can alter my assignments to the aspect of media I like. Eg. My researching media i can do print based and not TV Worst - I'm not learning as much as I'd like to in my lectures

The well-being support at YSJ is one of the best aspects and has been so helpful with coping with uni life and other issues. From my experience, I don’t think anything needs improvement.

The course is well organised and in case of illness, I can catch up on work online and book tutorials if I’m struggling which is great. However, sometimes not all powerpoints are uploaded for each lecture/seminar so sometimes it can be hard catching up on the work you’ve missed.

YSJ is really central to York city centre and is a quick walk from any cafe or shop.

The rooms are a good size and the communal area on site is really good. Free food is handed out on occasion in reception too, like pizza or cupcakes. The staff are friendly and always happy to help as well.
