Kingston university offers the opportunity to meet many great people as it’s a university that is highly ranked across a wide spectrum of courses. For example I study Fashion BA and my two closest friends I made her study Psychology and Pharmaceuticals, the fact we were able to meet and be so close was due to the great accommodation options Kingston has to offer we lived together and therefore enjoyed university life together and 4 years later are still great friends!

Best is the course content and the tutors knowledge and how deep they dive when giving feedback. You really feel like your work has been understood. The worst would simply be the low quantity of space for all the years to be in the sewing room. Luckily tutors and the course leaders have planned the year well that most years won’t be in the sewing room at the exact same time but it still comes as a surprise.

Great library and newly renovated communal space.

Best experience is the connections the uni provided during my placement year with established brands. I had a very fruitful time during my year out and learnt a lot through my time in industry. The uni has great range of 3D making and digital making facilities for art and design students. However, worst experience would be the lack of space due to high influx of students in each year. Sometimes there is barely any table or sufficient machines within the department. They had to extend the teaching times in the first year and even then there are too many students.

En-suite and 15mins to uni to uni which was good But Very old halls of residence. Not much amenities in the area. Fridge was always leaking and walls were thin and not sound proofed. Security and management was unhelpful when I had an unpleasant housemate smoking drugs every night.
