My over all uni experience so far has been fun useful and worth while. I’ve learned about a lot of stuff that I’ve wanted to. Made friends and feel as though my grades are good and I’m working hard at what I need to. There are struggles of having to work alongside my studies as that can impact on my uni work. However I need to work so I can earn money for food and time with friends

Very good facilities. Food available until 4 and good parking. Gym on site

There’s always support available. Tutors offer good relevant feedback and support if a student is having issues

I don’t even frequent the student union bar. But from what I know there’s a good student representation

The university is only a half an hour walk from my halls and close to shops and the city centre

The thing I like most is the interactivity and learning while on site. The thing I like least is death by PowerPoint

One of my modules is focused on employability allowing us to undertake a 30 hour job placement. As well as having a year placement

The business school has unisex bathrooms but they are always clean and easy to find. The canteen serves cold food and hot drinks with a range of options in the main oxstalls refectory. The support offered by lectures is second to none with my tutor replying to emails almost instantly and helping with any and all issue I may have.

All lectures are now in person unless we have a lot of industry professionals making it easier to connect with multiple people outside of the university. The course hours seem low, however, it provides a lot of extra time to work on dissertations and assignments. All lectures have let us know their office hours and it takes an email to set up a meeting which can be done very quickly. Everyone teaching on the events course is a wealth of knowledge and can help with personal and professional problems.
