Fantastic Uni with very friendly Staff which is located in a friendly city and very helpful support staff as no problem is too big or too small. I'm extremely glad I chose to come here, especially as a student from Northern Ireland moving to the mainland for the first time, but I have settled in very well thanks to the halo from JMU. I can't imagine uni life anywhere else and Leaving home to come to uni has made me very independent and although I've to travel so far to get home I'm very rarely homesick with regular calls from my family and friends. Each student at JMU is treated as an individual and all ideas are taken on board. My course all get on extremely well as do my flat mates. I highly recommend JMU, and the only thing I think could make it better is an actual meeting place for JMU students so you can meet more than just those on your course or in your accommodation.

There are great library facilities at JMU and excellent IT facilities.

I haven't used this, so I know very little about it.

There are very view societies and it is difficult meeting others who go here that aren't on your course or in your accommodation as there is no meeting place to bring the uni together for example and SU bar. The nightlife of Liverpool does however make up for this!

There is always some where to go and something to see in Liverpool.

I couldn't find any to suit me.

The lecturers are very friendly and try their best to keep us intrigued. I also find my course extremely interesting and love turning up to my classes.

We have new jobs uploaded every week on blackboard which are based around what we're actually studying.

There have been a few problems with my accommodation, although these have all been extremely well taken care of.

A great experience, a great course, great people. Glad i have book part in the experience of coming to university at John Moores university, and liverpool is a great student city.
