It's been good. I've enjoyed my placement so so much. Some lectures have been more enjoyable than others but overall its been a good experience. I've not enjoyed group work, as I find myself being the only one to put any work in, and the process behind sorting this is really flawed. I.e. Getting everyone to sign a contribution form but if one person never shows up, when exactly are they going to sign to say they've never showed up? I prefer the lectures that aren't specific to events management as a lot of the lecturers who only specialise in events have a tendency to only read slides and not be very helpful - feeding this back through muse forms hasn't helped at all over 2 years. However, the advisors, atmosphere, student life and campus have been the best parts. I will always recommend university to anyone as its definitely been worth it, it's just not necessarily been the most enjoyable experience for me at times, but overall its been helpful in increasing my employability.

Brilliant - everything you'd expect

Seems to be good. I haven't utilised it as much as I should have.

No not really. It's way out of the way of the main town centre which is a nightmare in rush hour traffic. It can take me an hour to get there on a bad day. However, it's on a main bus route which isn't too bad.

Amazing.

Most: some lecturers are amazing and the way they teach makes learning boring/difficult subjects, a lot more fun. Least: some lecturers just stand and read from the slides for the entire session and then get mad when we just stay at home to read the slides...

Careers hub are super helpful and my placement Advisor has been brill.

Bournemouth university is a really welcoming and friendly university and I feel really safe here. I am really enjoying my course and love the location. Everyone is really friendly, including the staff and other students.

The library is great, the staff are really helpful and friendly and offer sessions to help improve your skills, for example I am booked in for an essay skills session with my friend.

The library staff offer great support and there is also support for finance and ways to find jobs.

They always run really great events.

Bournemouth town centre has everything a student needs!!

There is a huge range of clubs and societies so there is something for everyone!

I really like all my lectures and find that they are really friendly and approachable.

I have already had paid work experience from a company who came in to give a guest lecture. I found this really useful as I found out an area of events I wouldn't want to go into - which I think is a really positive thing.

I live in unilet which is often considered the unlucky option but I really love it.
