Bangor has captured my heart! It's an amazing place to study and live. The natural environment here is breathtakingly gorgeous. I did my Masters in International Relations and Politics first in Sheffield, and have moved here to accomplish my PhD in Sociology. The educational environment, as well as the student-instructor relationship, is extremely beneficial and sustaining. I am so happy to be here!

My PhD supervisors are so supportive and they are my role models! For example, before starting the PhD, I did not have any idea how to use the NVivo program, and although it is very important for analysing the data in my research, I should have learned how to use it before starting my study, they were very understanding and supportive and registered me in a module to learn how to use it in the first semester of my study. I'm honestly learning a lot in each meeting with them, and they have published a lot in my field (researching in migration). I always feel so happy to have more comments on my work ,so I can develop and redraft it to its best. They are very friendly and do not stress me out. They make me feel free to arrange my meetings with them whenever I am ready. I highly appreciate their efforts and feel lucky to have had them during my PhD journey. I would love to keep my relationship with them after that! I honestly have not noticed any negative things so far on my course! I am more than happy with it! And I am even looking forward to pursuing my postdoctoral studies in Bangor!
