All of the facilities are within about a 5 minute walk from each other on the campus which makes it nice and easy and quick getting from A to B. The student union has a significant impact on the daily life at the university, providing several services on the campus such as affordable shops and cafeterias as well as a bar close to the campus where game night are offered frequently. They also ensure free sanitary products are available in all female toilets which is great. The place for improvement would be within the sports brighton app/website . They are hard to navigate often discouraging people from engaging in activities and sometimes just doesn't work. Also , if you want to do sports there is a wide variety of choice but most of the clubs run in Eastbourne , a long distance away from the other 2 campuses.

The main issue encountered so far is that some modules have access to past papers but not the marking schemes , which you have to get separately with the permission of the tutor and through the main office. It just seems like a lot of unnecessary steps to get access to something that I believe should be provided along with the past papers. On the positive note, all of the lectures are taught in person, so you can easily ask for help at the end of the lecture if you missed something. The lecture hours vary every semester with new modules being introduced. At least 2 days a week will be full days ie, 7-9h days. This can be a little difficult if you want to go over lecture notes made in the previous class as these kind of days have back to back lectures with only 1h break in the day. However, lecturers tend to provide small breaks in between their lectures , this can vary from 5 minutes to 30 minutes depending on the lecturer and the amount of back to back lessons you have with them.

I live near the city centre so it's safe to say that there are a lot of places students can go to to enjoy their free time. However, Brighton is a very expensive city, making it hard for some students to go out and enjoy themselves. There is a beach , which I love but you can't really use it until summer but some people just go to the shore for relaxation or to think or just to admire the scenery. It can be very loud until a late hour. A lot of students will go out until late at night so be prepared that whether you live in private accommodation or in uni halls , there will be sleepless nights due to the amount of noise other students make.
