I am in my second year at Nottingham Trent, and enjoying it more than ever. The course is great, with brilliant links to my future career. The lecturers are genuinely enthused about their subjects, and so willing to help in any way with my studies, and even my own projects. The campus is amazing, with the rural atmosphere and resources for environmental study. The facilities are fantastic in particular the new library. Student feedback is valued, I represent my course on union and course committees, and see how our comments make a difference. I would recommend NTU to anyone.

I really cannot overstate how much I love my university experience, it really has changed my life, and my future prospects. The environment is so nurturing for an enquiring spirit, and the passion and dedication of the lecturers and staff really helps to keep me motivated. The campus, in its rural location, is gorgeous, (and functional for our courses) a walk around the grounds is great to refocus study effort! It has been hard work, and at times stressful, but it's the best choice I've ever made.

Modern eco-friendly buildings, with great tech support for lectures and study. The library in particular is a welcoming and extremely useful place to study- with plenty of computers, private, silent, and group study areas and rooms.

Academic support is fantastic, both personal and tech based. I have used disability support, and it has really helped keep my academic performance high, despite difficulties I was having.

The Student's Union seems very active with activities and actions to improve student life and academic performance- however as a mature student it's all a bit cheerful for me, so I don't get involved.

As a mature student I am very busy, also I think that the societies are a bit cheerful and based on the youth culture- so I don't get involved. There does seem to be a vast selection though!

The lecturers are genuinely passionate about their areas, and always have time to help if you want to go further into a topic.

The course is very industry geared, in particular the inclusion of a GIS module- this is becoming very prevalent tool in the industry.
